what you'll be doing
We are currently looking to expand our young, international and diverse team of experts with the addition of an experienced accountant (f/m/x). Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Ongoing accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, intercompany accounting and general accounting) in Austrian GAAP
- Month-end and year-end closing activities
- Creation and implementation of payment runs
- Maintaining financial security through compliance with internal controls
- Creation of tax office reports
- Correspondence with the authorities, banks, tax consultants and vendors
- Optimization of ERP system based on local accounting standards
- Participation in special projects and process improvement activities
- Processing of various ad hoc inquiries
- Daily interface and collaboration with administration, procurement and other departments
what you'll bring
We are a dynamic, young team who values passion and drives to push things to the next level. If you think this role is a good fit for you, you will also have:
- Completed commercial vocational training (focus on bookkeeping and accounting)
- 3 to 5 years’ relevant professional experience in accounting
- Experience with Austrian accounting standards
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage/DPW would be an advantage
- Must be fluent in English, German skills are of advantage
- Independent, structured and precise way of working
- Organizational talent with very good time management
- Reliable and responsible personality
- Team player with hands-on mentality
- Proactive and communicative personality
