Sales Engineer

what you'll be doing
We are currently looking to expand our Sales team with the addition of a Sales Engineer (f/m/x). The ideal candidate will have a combination of sales and technical expertise. Within this role you will deal with:

  • Presenting, promoting and selling our products and services to existing and prospective customers
  • Responding to RFP’s and RFI’s and support the creation of technical and commercial proposals
  • Negotiating RaaS (Robotics as a Service) contracts with clients
  • Upselling of new apps and services to existing client base
  • Establishing and maintaining a positive customer relationship
  • Responding to customer problems and complaints in close cooperation with service and support team
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Representing Taurob at conferences and exhibitions

  • Proven work experience in a similar role in sales – ideally a track record in the energy or other capital-intensive industries
  • Degree in engineering preferred; degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field - beneficial
  • Excellent networking skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a target driven way of working
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Natural talent for selling
  • Passion for new technology in general and for robotics specifically
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Fluent ability in English, other languages are a plus
